DESCRIPTION

This training will provide an overview of recent Medi-Cal changes in California and their impact on immigrant and refugee families. Learn about eligibility updates, common challenges, and practical strategies for supporting refugee, immigrant, and mixed-status households with confidence and care.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants will be able to:

+List changes to Medi-Cal that apply to immigrant and refugee families

+Describe what age groups are most affected by the Medi-Cal rule changes

+Identify resources for immigrant and refugee families
